Mata Capital IM, on behalf of one of its managed funds, has acquired a majority stake in the Roof Group, alongside its founding shareholders, as part of a capital reorganisation.
The Roof Group, a next-generation student residence operator, specialises in the full conversion of buildings designed to accommodate up to 100 rooms, with the aim of fostering student community living.
Archers advised Mata Capital on all legal aspects of the transaction.
The Archers team was composed of Marc Baffreau (partner), Antoine Roux (associate), and Camille Biancone (associate) for corporate matters, and Arnaud Moutet (partner) and Marine Dufour (associate) for real estate aspects.
